Abstract Maleic acid polymer scale inhibitor is a new domestic seawater desalination inhibitor. This study tested the acute oral toxicity, sub-chronic toxicity and genotoxicity of this The LD 50 obtained from test was 6810 9260 mg/kg·BW for male female rats, as well 1/5, 1/10 1/20 were dose test.
